On Friday 9th April 2021 during one of the Covid-19 Pandemic Lock Downs here in England, several members of Manchester’s Magic Club & Magical Society for Magician’s “The Order of the Magi” got together online via Zoom to give a Charity Fund Raising performance to raise funds for Royal Manchester Children’s Hospital.
You can find out more about this amazing Charity, its work and how to make a donation to this worthy cause here - https://mftcharity.org.uk/donate/
Now some Five Years, One Month, 2 Weeks and 2 days since the online fund raising show took place we are now making the videos (and a some others including from other Charity events) public for your enjoyment.

The online show was opened by the Colourful Magic & Illusions of Darren Lee who was followed by Mike Sharples
Mike Sharples was Secretary for the Order of the Magi for 20 years and although he stepped down from that role at the March 2026 AGM he is still our treasurer..

Next up was Nathan Kane with some skilled Sleight of Hand & Close-Up Card Magic
The show was then brought to an end by the Mind Reading & Psychic Style Mentalism with a touch of Comedy Magic as presented by Stuart “Harrizon” Cassel’s before everyone thanked the online audience and wished everyone a good night.
The show helped raise money for Royal Manchester Children’s Hospital and if you have enjoyed the videos on this page we would kindly ask you to consider making a small donation directly to them here https://mftcharity.org.uk/donation-form/
For those who may wish to watch the show as a whole in one video, your wish is our command and you can do that right now with this video below
I (Jonathan Royle) was not a member of the Magi at the time of the above Fund Raising event, but you can if you watch closely see my face and that of my wife Rachel & Daughter Ashleigh (who is now 16, fast approaching 17 in August) as we were at home watching the online show and also helping to raise funds for this worthy cause.
Last year (2025) I had once again become a Member of The Order of the Magi leading up to me now having been elected as both Public Relations Officer (PRO) & Entertainments Officer at the March 2026 AGM as per the articles at these links

So in 2025 I was more than happy to take part in the Charity Fund Raising Show that The Order of the Magi presented as part of Poynton Arts Festival raising funds for The Royal British Legion
This next video captures My routine of Comedy Magic & Mind Reading Illusions as presented on that night, you will notice I am using a stick that was/is due to my disabilities as explained at - https://www.magicalguru.com/disabled-hypnotist-magician-with-disability/
So just for fun, here also are two videos of me performing a number of years before my health issues had become such a challenge for me, once again if you enjoy what you see please do consider making a donation (however small it may be) to The Royal Manchester Children’s Hospital as per https://mftcharity.org.uk/donation-form/
